Sarah Lincoln

Researcher

Sarah Lincoln

Sarah works on a range of bespoke projects and runs our parliamentary tracking research for charities, regularly surveying MPs, Peers and members of the devolved assemblies. She has conducted research with a range of participants, from young people at risk of social exclusion for the Vodafone Foundation to high value donors for UNICEF. Other clients she has worked for include Drinkaware, the Mental Health Foundation, Asthma UK and Plan International. Sarah's practical research experience has a solid theoretical grounding as she holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Science Research Methods from the Open University.

Prior to joining nfpSynergy in March 2008, Sarah worked in communications and fundraising for the national homelessness charity Emmaus UK. She has also volunteered for various charities and is particularly interested in not for profit organisations working on issues of social welfare and justice.

Sarah has a BA and a masters degree from Oxford University, where her initial interest in philosophy grew into a wider interest in the social sciences and more practical 'real world' research. Keen to pursue her interests in prison reform and youth justice in a research context, Sarah is currently studying part-time for a MA in Criminology and Criminal Justice at King's College London.
