Richard Ollerearnshaw

Research Assistant

Richard OllerearnshawRichard joined nfpSynergy in November 2009 and provides research support for some of our syndicated awareness tracking services: the Charity Awareness Monitor (CAM), Youth Engagement Monitor (YEM) and Scottish Charity Engagement Monitor (SCEM). He also works on a range of our bespoke research projects for individual clients.

Richard has a BA in Psychology from the University of Cambridge. Since graduating, he has completed a couple of research internships at public policy think tanks, and he maintains an active interest in certain public policy issues.

Richard’s interest in the charity sector was developed whilst growing up in Nigeria, and he has also been involved with charity projects overseas in Oman and Equatorial Guinea. Richard now spends one day a week as a Research & Evaluation volunteer at Toynbee Hall, a medium-sized charity in Tower Hamlets which runs a range of innovative social programmes. He enjoys volunteering in a local school for the ‘Aspire’ project, and in his spare time can also be found walking, running, freerunning, listening to music and almost-but-not-quite writing music.
