Patrick Brennan
Research Director

Patrick is responsible for the strategic development of nfpSynergy’s syndicated tracking programmes in both the UK and Ireland.
He also manages major bespoke research projects which run in conjunction with nfpSynergy’s syndicated work. Recent clients include the National Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, Plan UK and the RPSCA.
Prior to nfpSynergy, Patrick worked for the Future Foundation as an analyst, developing content for their flagship service, nVision. In the charity sector, Patrick has previously managed a local unit of St. John Ambulance for a year, overseeing recruitment, PR, fundraising, public operations and training. In addition he also fundraises for international development charity Health Poverty Action, and WaterAid having run the London, New York and Brighton Marathons.
Patrick graduated from the University of Surrey with an honours degree in Psychology (2:1). His final year projects included environmental sustainability, social construction of racism, human rights, deviant behaviour at work, football hooliganism and body language.
