Our current interns are Fiona Wallace and Samiksha Rai. See below for their biographies, or find out more about our internship scheme here.
Fiona Wallace
Fiona joined nfpSynergy in August 2011 and provides research support for our syndicated monitors and bespoke projects. She also undertakes administrative tasks, and assists with the activities of the business development team.
Fiona graduated from Durham University in 2011 with a BA in Geography. Before starting her degree she volunteered as a teacher in Ghana: a trip that has motivated her to work in the not-for-profit sector. Her interests include fairtrade and environmental issues, folk music, cooking, camping and hillwalking.
Samiksha Rai
Samiksha joined nfpSynergy in August 2011. She works with the business development team working on sales and marketing projects. Samiksha also assists with administrative tasks as well as working in finance.
Samiksha graduated from Delhi University (New Delhi, India) in 2007 with a BA in Commerce. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree she worked as a Sales and Marketing Executive for a year in her home country Nepal, selling cars (Subaru and Chevrolet). She then went on to pursue an MBA in Global Business Leadership with a concentration in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University, in Rhode Island, USA. nfpSynergy provided her with an opportunity to combine her Marketing background with her desire to help not-for-profits thrive. Samiksha loves to travel, spend quality time with her family and go for long walks.
