Octavia Allocco
Researcher
Octavia joined nfpSynergy in June 2006 and her roles have included project management and data analysis on both sides of our business – syndicated monitors and bespoke projects.
She is currently responsible for our Charity Media Monitor and is also involved in the running of our Ethnic Minorities Monitor. She has also contributed in qualitative projects, having conducted in-depth interviews and moderated focus groups for clients such as Unicef, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Vodafone Foundation and our Sending out an SMS report.
Octavia has been working in research since the year 2000 and has gained experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sector. She holds a BA in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics (LSE), graduating with a 2:1, and an MSc in Social Research from the University of Surrey.
Her interests include migration and cultural studies, as well as international politics and history. She’s also very keen on the Arts and going hiking with her young family.
Octavia is currently on maternity leave - for information about the Charity Media Monitor, contact Amandine Courtin.
