Octavia Allocco

Octavia joined nfpSynergy in June 2006 and has been involved in several of our company’s syndicated monitors – CAM, CMM, EMCEM and most recently YEM, as well as a series of quantitative and qualitative bespoke research projects.
She currently runs YEM tracking the relationship of young audiences in the UK with charities. She has also worked in a wide range of projects for clients such as St Dunstan’s, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Sightsavers, and contributed in some of our free reports such as Sending out an SMS.
Octavia has been working in research for over 10 years and has gained experience in the academic, private and not-for-profit sector while working on projects that focused on a diverse range of topics including IT products, small volunteering and community groups in West London and the oldest monastery in the world.
She holds a BA in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics (LSE), graduating with a 2:1, and an MSc in Social Research from the University of Surrey.
Her interests include migration and cultural studies, as well as international politics and history. She’s also very keen on the Arts and travelling with her young family.
