Jennifer Shea

Research Director

Jennifer joined nfpSynergy in 2008 and is responsible for design, analysis and management of major projects for our clients including Cancer Research UK, CAFOD, the National Housing Federation, WWF-UK, YWCA, Asthma UK and others. Jennifer also leads on the strategic planning and oversight of our free research for the sector.

Before joining nfpSynergy Jennifer worked in charity fundraising for a regional affiliate of the United Way, one of the largest not-for-profit organisations in the United States, and as a Researcher on a major equality and diversity initiative sponsored by the Home Office.

Jennifer holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, as well as degrees from Yale University and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She has undertaken volunteer work for organisations including the Mental Health Foundation and the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
